Your hosts Jackie and Angus Watson are both semi retired, Jackie as an English teacher, Angus a builder. Oakhampton Lodge, their 16 year old home and garden has been redesigned to cater for guests. Sharing this peaceful haven with them is Georgie their St Bernard who has the run of the garden but is only allowed inside on extremely special occasions.

Living in North Canterbury for most of our lives we are very knowledgeable about the district we call home and enjoy sharing it with guests from all over the world as well as from New Zealand. We have experienced bed and breakfast accommodation ourselves on our travels to Italy, England and France and use this knowledge to ensure that your stay is a memorable one.
